First Look at the All New MVVS 58cc Gas Engine

MVVS is set to re-write the book on giant scale gas performance
UPDATE  We've been telling everyone about how great the new MVVS 58cc Gas Engine is going to be.  Now we've got proof.  The MVVS factory has but one on a dynamometer and the readings exceeded all expectations!  To your right, check out the performance of this firebreathing 9.25 Bhp monster!  And yes you read right that's 9.25 Bhp from a 58cc engine.

Josef Svajda (Chief Engineer MVVS Brno) brought the first operational prototype for testing by Morris Hobbies/MVVS Corporation of America of this bona fide monster.  This puppy will be more powerful than most current 80cc gassers and substantially lighter.

This all new powerplant is designed by Martin Sula an engineer at MVVS who first made a name for himself on the professional go-cart racing circuit in Europe.

Designed from the onset as a performance gas engine specifically for RC airplane usage, the MVVS 58cc has no rivals among RC gas engines in terms of power to weight ratio.

Created using 3D CAD/CAE technology, the engine you see was designed entirely on state of the art computers.  Advanced stereolithography equipment translated the design to a wax sculpture from which a cast was made.  The finished result is what you see here!

Although a one-of-a-kind prototype, you can't exactly say it was hand made...

Preliminary Specifications:
  • Displacement - 58cc
  • Weight - 3 lbs 12.7 ozs
  • RPM - 7,000 using a 22x12 prop
  • Intake - Rear or  Side configuration (right or left) whichever is preferred
