These old vintage diesels tend to have vibration problems due to very long stroke and insufficient crankshaft counter balance. The stoke is so long on this 2.5cc diesel that the connecting rod is about the same length as a PAW .60 diesel connecting rod! A common fix is just to unbalance the prop and mount in the correct position to help with the counter balance. I choose instead to have a motor mount made up that captured the front of the engine just aft of the prop to reduce the vibration level. Gets the job done. Jack Hiner
